I’m Lisa Forbes, Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for Peterborough. I have lived, worked, and raised my family in Peterborough over the last 30 years.
We’ve made a great start since I was elected as your MP in June. I hope you will support me again so I can continue standing up for Peterborough and being your voice in Westminster.
I have seen how our city has been let down by the Tory Government and Tory Council. I am fed up of seeing our schools struggling, our streets left unswept, and the constant rise in crime.
Peterborough has been left behind. After nine years of brutal Tory austerity, our city’s public services have been stripped back. Our schools, our infrastructure and our emergency services are in dire need of investment. Enough is enough.
Our communities matter as much to me as they do to you. If re-elected, I will continue fighting tirelessly for a better deal for Peterborough.
If you elect me, I promise that from day one, I will be there, alongside you, campaigning for the resources we need to make Peterborough the city we all know it can be.
Whether it’s cleaning up our streets, getting police back in our communities, or fighting for the money our schools desperately need, I will make it happen. I know Peterborough, I know what it needs, and how to make it a home we can all be proud of.
If you feel the same way, please, join my campaign.
I hope I can count on your support.
I will stand up for our city and fight for our community. Lisa Forbes
